The Native Nonpeople of Silt Island
A literary noir set fifty years in the future on a silt island in the Bay of Bengal, where twenty thousand stateless people — nonpeople, in the language of the state — live under the administration of the öZone corporation. A story of refugees, enslavement, and environmental collapse, told through a child protagonist. Observational, strange, restrained.
The novel is complete and currently with indie publishers. For rights and inquiries outside the Commonwealth region, please get in touch. Commonwealth representation: Kanishka Gupta, Writer's Side Literary Agency.
